It Ain't Necessarily So
Members of Jazz Atavist hail from Minnesota, Illinois, and the Washington, DC area: bassist Dahni Scally, percussionist Fred Kiesel, guitarist Daniel Nelson and pianist/music director Eric Gustafson. The ensemble specializes in recreations of classic performances (arrangements and original compositions) by world-renowned jazz artists. The repertoire ranges from Fats Waller to Miles Davis. Here's just a few of the monumental performances we have purloined, pilfered, and painstakingly reproduced:
Easy Listening Blues
Blues for Big Scotia
Alle En El Rancho Grande
If you are interested in booking a performance by Jazz Atavist (staged concert, cabaret, party background, etc.), please contact Eric Gustafson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
